National Meadows Day
National Meadows Day is here again at Bell Sykes Farm which is situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley village of Slaidburn. This is a real chance for you to learn more about plants and wildlife which inhabit the meadows of Bell Sykes Farm.
What you will see in National Meadows Day
You will also have the chance to see lots of rural crafts from spinning or woodcrafts. You will also learn traditional uses of meadow plants and then have the chance to have a cup of tea and home made cakes.
The guided walks cost £3 and all the proceeds are used to help the rural community of Slaidburn.
All you need to do is just turn up – please note that car parking at the farm is for the disabled but there is car parking in the centre of the tiny village of Slaidburn. To find out more about the National Meadows day click on this link.
